1.hunt
1)v.狩獵;打獵;搜索
The huntsman and I hunt the animals out of the garden.
獵人和我把動(dòng)物趕出花園。
2)n.狩獵;追捕;搜尋
The dog was trained to the hunt.
這只狗受過狩獵訓(xùn)練。
3)pursue,follow,chase,hunt,trace,track,trail簡單辨析
這些動(dòng)詞均含“跟隨、追蹤”之意。
pursue指堅(jiān)持不懈、毫不動(dòng)搖地緊跟、追趕某人、某物或某個(gè)事業(yè)。
follow普遍用詞，含義最廣，多指跟隨起引導(dǎo)作用的人或物，跟隨的動(dòng)機(jī)可以是善意的，也可能是惡意的。
chase指快速追趕或決心追蹤，褒義貶義均可用。
hunt原義為“追獵、獵取”，現(xiàn)用于指追捕或搜尋逃犯等。
trace指根據(jù)線索或足跡進(jìn)行跟蹤。用于抽象意義時(shí)指找到某事物的根源。
track指沿著人或動(dòng)物留下的印跡或行跡追蹤。
trail一般指跟蹤追擊。
2.consider做動(dòng)詞的用法
1)作"思考"、"考慮"(=think about)解,后面可接動(dòng)名詞、由"how, what等+動(dòng)詞不定式"或者從句作賓語.但要特別注意,consider后面不能直接跟動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語
He has never considered how to solve the problem.
他從未考慮過如何解決那個(gè)問題。
2)consider還可作"顧慮到"、"顧及"、"體諒"(=take into account)解。這時(shí)其后用名詞或動(dòng)名詞作賓語。
All of you should consider the feelings of other people.
你們必須顧及到他人的感情。
3)作"認(rèn)為"、"以為"、"覺得"(=be of the opinion, regard as)解時(shí),后面多接賓語從句,這時(shí)一般不接動(dòng)名詞作賓語。
I consider that he is fit for the position of the manager.
我認(rèn)為他勝任經(jīng)理的位置。
4)固定結(jié)構(gòu)"consider... as/ to be+名詞/形容詞"多側(cè)重于表示經(jīng)過思考"認(rèn)為……是……"。
We consider his suggestion as having possibilities.
我們認(rèn)為他的建議具有可行性。
3.primarily
1)adv.主要地;起初地
I am primarily interested in history.
我主要對(duì)歷史感興趣。
2)mainly,chiefly,greatly,largely,mostly,primarily,principally,generally辨析
這些副詞均可表示“主要地、大量地”之意。
mainly指主要部分，突出在一系列事物中的相對(duì)重要性。
chiefly側(cè)重某人或某物在眾多的人或物中占主要和顯著地位。
greatly通常強(qiáng)調(diào)程度的高。
largely著重范圍或分量大大超過別的成分。
mostly強(qiáng)調(diào)數(shù)量占多半，近乎全部。
primarily側(cè)重基本地，首要地。
principally側(cè)重居首要地位。
generally通常強(qiáng)調(diào)普遍性。
