三、電傳寫(xiě)作的原則
�。�1）簡(jiǎn)潔
英文原文Since charges are made on a time and distance basis， we should be kept as concise as possible without sacrificing clarity， courtesy and accuracy. To achieve conciseness， the ordinary convention of grammar and sentence structure may be dropped， but some punctuation marks for clarity and avoidance of ambiguity should remain.
注釋：concise： 簡(jiǎn)潔的；簡(jiǎn)明的 sacrifice： 犧牲， 獻(xiàn)出， 獻(xiàn)祭， 供奉 accuracy： 精確性， 正確度 achieve： 達(dá)到，完成 ordinary： 平常的， 普通的， 平凡的 convention：常規(guī)，習(xí)俗，慣例 grammar： 語(yǔ)法 sentence structure： 句子結(jié)構(gòu)avoidance： 避免 ambiguity： 含糊， 不明確 remain： 保持
中文意思：因電傳的費(fèi)用是以時(shí)間和距離為計(jì)費(fèi)基礎(chǔ)的，所以我們要注意保持信息的簡(jiǎn)明扼要，但是要清晰，禮貌和正確。做到簡(jiǎn)潔，不一定要遵循一般的語(yǔ)法習(xí)慣和句子結(jié)構(gòu)，但是要保留一些標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)來(lái)保證詞句意思清晰和避免意思含糊不清。
�。�2）標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)的使用
英文原文：Punctuation marks except “；”， symbols except “$”， “%”， “@”， or words such as COMMA， STOP can be use.
注釋：symbol： 符號(hào) comma： 逗號(hào) stop： 句號(hào)
中文意思：標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)除了“；”，符號(hào)除了“$”，“%”，“@”，或如“逗號(hào)”，“句號(hào)”這樣的詞以外其它都可以使用。
�。�3）縮寫(xiě)詞語(yǔ)和簡(jiǎn)化詞
英文原文：Simplified words or abbreviations such as “PLS”， “TKG”， “ATTN”， “CFM” are commonly used.
注釋：simplified word： 縮寫(xiě)詞
中文意思： 如“請(qǐng)”，“謝謝”，“注意”，“確認(rèn)”這些詞的縮寫(xiě)通常都會(huì)使用。
�。�4）冠詞，介詞，連接詞的使用原則
英文原文：Articles like “the”， “a”， “an”， prepositions such as “of”， “in”， “to”， “at”， conjunctions such as “and”， “but”， “or”， “for” should be omitted.
注釋：article： 冠詞 preposition： 介詞 conjunction： 連接詞 omit： 省略
中文意思：可以省略冠詞如“the”， “a”， “an”， 介詞如“of”， “in”， “to”， “at”，連接詞如“and”， “but”， “or”， “for”。
