    On the Significance of the Qing-Zang Railroad

    The Qing-Zang Railroad is a major project in China’s West Development Strategy. Undoubtedly, it will be infinitely beneficial to the Tibet Autonomous Region as well as the whole China.

    However, people’s views on this issue vary from person to person. Though most people applaud it, some hold that the railroad would destroy the traditional ethnic culture in Tibet.

    As for me，I admit Tibetan fragile ecology needs protecting，but Tibetan people’s better life should be the priority.
