　　My View on Reform of Medical Care in China

　　There is no denying the fact that the problem of medical care is grave. It would cost the patient who just caught a slight cough more than one hundred RMB when he saw the doctor in a higher grade hospital. Furthermore, he had to stand in line for a long time to register, to wait for the doctor and to get the medicine.

　　A number of factors could account for the problems, but the following are the most critical ones. In the first place, the price of medicine is high unreasonably. In the second place, some of the doctors do not choose the most suitable medicine which is not only effective but also cheap. In the third place, a number of patients would like to go to the big hospital no matter how slight the disease they caught, which result in the crowed people in the big hospital.

　　In the view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures should be taken before things getting worse. First, the price of medicines must be limited in a reasonable range by the government. Second, more medical guide line should be made out, thus doctors will never description arbitrarily. The last but not the least, the patient who just catches a tiny disease would better go to the community hospital, and meanwhile, big hospital should offer more convenient channel for patients to make an appointment. With these measures taken, it is reasonable for us to expect a brighter future.
