5-5 課文：The agreement often fixes a certain minimum quantity to be shipped each time in order that the shipowner shall have a duty to load and carry the goods.

課文意思：每次航運(yùn)協(xié)議常常會(huì)固定一個(gè)確定的最低運(yùn)輸量，為了使船舶所有人負(fù)責(zé)裝載和運(yùn)輸貨物。
5-6 包運(yùn)租船的優(yōu)點(diǎn)
1.對(duì)于船東來說：
Security of employment is obtained for his vessel for duration of the contract, especially valuable if the shipowner considers that freight rates are about to fall. 特別是在船東認(rèn)為運(yùn)費(fèi)將要下降時(shí)，包運(yùn)租船可以保證船東在合同期間固定的收益。
注釋：security: 安全，保障 obtain: 獲得 duration: 持續(xù)時(shí)間，期限 valuable: 有價(jià)值的，可評(píng)估的 be about to:將要，打算 fall: 落下，下跌
2.對(duì)于承租人來說：
But the charterers may also be able to obtain financial advantage in the event that market freight rates rise once they have committed shipowner or operator on the contract. 而對(duì)于承租人來說，在他們將貨物委托給合同規(guī)定的船東或者經(jīng)營者后，如果運(yùn)費(fèi)上漲，采用包運(yùn)租船對(duì)承租人來說也是有利的。
