在各個(gè)頒獎(jiǎng)儀式上，除了獲獎(jiǎng)演員以及主持人，少不了的就是頒獎(jiǎng)嘉賓了。

    在奧斯卡頒獎(jiǎng)典禮上，頒獎(jiǎng)嘉賓最常說的話是神馬呢？好吧……其實(shí)就是那
句“獲得本次XXX 提名的是……，最終獲獎(jiǎng)?wù)邽?hellip;…”了吧。

    比如說我們今天聽到在宣布最佳音效剪輯獎(jiǎng)時(shí)，嘉賓這樣說道：Now it's Sound
Editing ， which is presumably different to mixing in some way. Inception，
Toy Story 3 ， Tron ： Legacy ， True Grit and Unstoppable are nominated.

    這里用到的是我們最容易接受的一個(gè)句型：sth. is nominated （某物被提
名為……）

    而后，我們也會(huì)聽到這樣干凈利落的頒獎(jiǎng)詞： The Costume Design nominees
are Alice in Wonderland ， I Am Love， The King's Speech， The Tempest，
and True Grit. And the award goes to……

    簡簡單單一個(gè)nominee 就將想要說的給表達(dá)清楚了。

    以上兩種表達(dá)相信大家不是很陌生，也很容易理解。接下去我們重點(diǎn)來看這
個(gè)句型：

    And it's Achievement in Cinematography. Black Swan， Inception， The
King's Speech ， The Social Network ， and True Grit are up for it， and
……

    我們看到這里用的一個(gè)短語是“be up for ”，其最初表達(dá)的是“be enthusiastic
about an upcoming event ”，也就是一種對某項(xiàng)活動(dòng)非常感興趣，充滿激情的
感覺，用在這里是在（選舉、任命職位等中）被提名的意思。不僅是單單nominated
了，而且對這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)很enthusiastic，是不是很適合呢？
