3·16是國際誠信日。人無信則不立，民無信則國不強(qiáng)。“信用是一種現(xiàn)代社會無法或缺的個人無形資產(chǎn)，誠信的約束不僅來自外界，更來自我們內(nèi)心的自律和自身的道德力量。誠信是一切道德的基石，是一個人最根本的道德原則和品質(zhì)。為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成誠信做人，立信于行的習(xí)慣。3月18日早，黑利伯瑞以“誠信”教育為主題舉行了升旗儀式，全校師生參加了活動。升旗儀式由小學(xué)部4Green班的魏嘉琪、張梵智皓兩位同學(xué)主持。

　　為進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的誠信行為，使他們在學(xué)習(xí)生活中自覺養(yǎng)成重信譽(yù)、講誠信的良好習(xí)慣，升旗儀式上，師生通過誠信故事的演講，闡釋了誠信在學(xué)習(xí)和生活中的重要意義。通過理念的傳達(dá)，向?qū)W生們滲透了如何做一名誠信的人，希望大家從小做一名誠實(shí)守信的好孩子。

　　親愛的老師，同學(xué)們，大家早上好!我是4Green班的薛御邦，很高興能擔(dān)任今天的升旗手。在學(xué)習(xí)上，我認(rèn)認(rèn)真真，踏踏實(shí)實(shí)地做功課。上課時，我聽講認(rèn)真，積極舉手回答問題。我的興趣愛好廣泛，我喜歡滑旱冰、騎自行車，課后喜歡鉆研數(shù)學(xué)問題。我希望在以后的日子里，我能繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持下去。謝謝大家!

　　Dear teachers and students good morning! I'm Daniel from 4Green class. I'm very glad to be the flag-bearer today. In learning, I am serious, steadfast in doing homework,in class, I listen carefully,I actively raise my hand to answer questions. I have a wide range of hobbies. I like roller skating, riding bikes, and delving into math problems after class. I hope in the future, I can continue to improve with each passing day. Thank you!

　　升旗手薛御邦同學(xué)做簡要的自我介紹。

　　黑利伯瑞通過舉行“國旗下講誠信”主題教育活動，旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的誠信品質(zhì)，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生樹立正確的人生觀和價(jià)值觀，從而推進(jìn)學(xué)生的誠信教育。誠實(shí)守信是我國中華民族的優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)美德，自古被奉為中華民族做人之根本。誠信也是黑利伯瑞德育教育的重要內(nèi)容之一，我校將繼續(xù)開展一系列生動有趣，富有教育意義的誠信教育活動，通過誠信教育，使學(xué)生懂得誠信不僅是做人的準(zhǔn)則，更需養(yǎng)成習(xí)慣。

　　《誠信的花朵》

　　有一個國王因?yàn)闆]有自己的孩子，就想找一位誠實(shí)的孩子做王子。他對前來應(yīng)招的孩子們說：“今天給你們一粒種子，三個月后，誰能給我種出最美麗的花，誰就是王子了。”三個月過去了，聰明伶俐的孩子們捧著一盆盆五彩的花兒，前來參加最后的競爭。只有一位小孩盆中空空、淚眼漣漣：“尊敬的國王，我每天辛勤地澆水，細(xì)心地施肥，即使睡覺，也把花盆摟在懷里，但是，我卻什么也沒種出來……”國王聽了哈哈大笑：“誠實(shí)的王子呀，你不會種出任何的花草，因?yàn)槲医o你們的，都是炒熟的種子呀!”故事中的這個孩子靠誠實(shí)做了王子。

　　A king who had no children of his own wanted an honest boy to be his prince.

　　He asked the children who answered the call, “I will give you a seed today, and in three months, whoever can plant me the most beautiful flower will be the prince”.

　　Three months had passed when many of the smart children were holding pots of beautiful flowers to participate in the final competition. Only one child, held an empty pot. With tears in his eyes he said “with respect to the king, I worked every day watering, fertilizing and caring for this seed. Even when I held slept, I held the pot with the seed in my arms, but still no flower bloomed.

　　The king laughed aloud and said, “my honest prince, you could not have planted any flowers or plants, because all I have given you are fried seeds.

　　The boy in the story was made a prince due to his honesty.

　　International Day of Honesty and Integrity

　　You may not have heard but last Saturday was the international day of honesty and integrity.

　　上周六是國際誠信日，你有可能沒聽說過。

　　The event started in 2012 and so this year was its 9th year in operation.

　　國際誠信節(jié)開始于2012年，因此今年是活動的第9年。

　　The person who pioneered or started the day wasa Chinese artist by the name of Mr. Xiao Guang.

　　這個節(jié)日是一個中國藝術(shù)家開創(chuàng)的，他的名字叫蕭寬。

　　He is still heavily involved in the event.

　　他仍在全力以赴地參與這個節(jié)日。

　　Although the event is still in its infancy as very few Chinese and even fewer foreign people know about it.

　　這個節(jié)日還處于起步階段，很少有中國人知道這個節(jié)日，外國人知道這個節(jié)日的更少。

　　Schools such as awell-known international school in Beijing have celebrated the occasion in the past.

　　其他的學(xué)校像北京一所的國際學(xué)校有慶祝過這個節(jié)日。

　　Students of all ages can celebrate the event in different ways such as through painting, singing, reciting, listening and sharing about honesty and integrity.

　　各個年齡段的學(xué)生可以通過繪畫、唱歌、朗誦、聆聽來分享誠信，來慶祝這個節(jié)日。

　　So why should we be honest and be people of integrity?

　　那么，我們?yōu)槭裁匆�做有誠信的人呢?

　　It has been said that the truth lasts forever but that lies only last for the moment.

　　有人說過：真理是永恒的，謊言只能是暫時的。

　　It has also been said that it is better to be poor than to be a liar.

　　也有人說貧窮總比說謊好。

　　Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, but afterward his mouth will be full of gravel.

　　以虛謊而得的食物，人覺甘甜;但後來，他的口必充滿塵沙。

　　You will have very few friends if you are untrustworthy and a liar but you will be respected if you keep your word and are honest.

　　如果你是個不可信的騙子，你不會有很多朋友，但是如果你信守諾言，你會受到別人的尊重。

　　Solet us be people of honesty and Integrity.

　　所以讓我們做誠實(shí)正直的人。

　　Let us be people who keep our promises even when circumstances change.

　　無論環(huán)境如何變化。讓我們做個信守承諾的人，

　　Let us be people who others can trust in.

　　讓我們成為別人可以信任的人。
