Dear Sir,

　　I think we have entered a card age. Just open a wallet, and we can see a lot of cards: credit cards, bank cards, public transport card, working ID card, perhaps student ID card, library cards and many types of shopping membership cards. I think it is just like what I overheard heard on the bus, cards are everywhere, and everything requires cards. How funny it is. After thousands of years of complex revolution and development, our daily life goes back to the simplest way—card usage.

　　The advantage of using cards is to make our life easier and tidier: credit cards save us from taking large sum of cash, and ID cards contain a lot of information about us. Besides, the cards are gradually becoming a new channel for advertisement, promotion and customer maintenance—in particular, shops are so keen on building up membership relationships with customers and keeping them shopping continuously with them.

　　However, with the wide usage of cards, some problems come out. Shopping with cards is still at the beginning stages, and not every shop provides such services, so cash is still necessary. When some cards are missing, such as credit cards, it’s likely to be quite messy, as the cards may be mis-used by bad people.

　　Anyway, cards do change our life for the better and I think we are in the age of cards now.

　　我認(rèn)為我們進(jìn)入了一個(gè)卡片時(shí)代。打開(kāi)錢(qián)包，我們會(huì)看到好多的卡片：信用卡、銀行卡、公交卡、工作身份卡，可能還有學(xué)生身份卡、圖書(shū)卡和很多商場(chǎng)會(huì)員卡。我想這就像我在公交上聽(tīng)到的那樣，到處都是卡，所有的事情都需要卡。多有趣啊!經(jīng)過(guò)幾千年復(fù)雜的變革和發(fā)展，我們的日常生活追溯到最簡(jiǎn)單的時(shí)代——用卡時(shí)代。

　　用卡的優(yōu)勢(shì)是使我們的生活輕松和整潔：信用卡使我們可以不用帶大量的現(xiàn)金，身份卡包含了大量的自我信息。除此之外，卡逐漸變成了一個(gè)新的廣告、提升信譽(yù)并維系顧客的渠道。尤其是，商店們都很熱衷于與顧客建立會(huì)員制而讓其不斷購(gòu)買(mǎi)他們的商品。

　　然而，隨著大范圍對(duì)卡的使用，很多問(wèn)題隨之而生。商店使用卡尚處于初始階段，不是每一個(gè)商店都提供這樣的服務(wù)，因此現(xiàn)金仍然是有必要的。當(dāng)一些卡片丟失時(shí)，就像信用卡，當(dāng)被壞人拿到使用時(shí)間情況就有可能變得非常糟糕。

　　不管怎樣，卡片讓我們的生活變得更好了，同時(shí)我認(rèn)為我們正處于卡片時(shí)代。
