1月13日，黑利伯瑞國(guó)際學(xué)校籃球隊(duì)的隊(duì)員們與圣保羅美國(guó)學(xué)校進(jìn)行了本學(xué)期最后一場(chǎng)籃球比賽。比賽十分激烈，而雙方球員在比賽中都有出色表現(xiàn)。

　　On Wednesday the 13th of January, in the last game of the academic semester, both Haileybury’s boy and girl Senior Basketball teams travelled to St Paul’s American School in North West Beijing. Both teams played valiantly against the strong International School competition.

　　黑利伯瑞女子籃球隊(duì)率先出場(chǎng)，與實(shí)力相當(dāng)?shù)氖ケＡ_女子籃球隊(duì)進(jìn)行了激烈的對(duì)抗。 賽程過(guò)半，雙方比分接近，黑利伯瑞女子隊(duì)僅以?xún)煞种�差落后。黑利伯瑞女子籃球隊(duì)最終以19:25負(fù)于圣保羅。黑利伯瑞女子籃球隊(duì)的Michelle在比賽中奮力抵抗，表現(xiàn)出色。

　　The Haileybury International School girls basketball team played first, versing a similarly capable St Paul’s opponent in an exciting match. At half time the teams were tensely close at 16 to 14 with Haileybury only trailing by 2 points. The Hearts maintained the narrow difference with a final score of 25 to 19, being defeated in a tense game by a mere 6 points. There was a particularly strong performance from Michelle in offence.

　　黑利伯瑞與圣保羅男子籃球賽同樣精彩紛呈。比賽開(kāi)始，圣保羅便發(fā)起了強(qiáng)烈進(jìn)攻，盡管黑利伯瑞抵擋住對(duì)手的攻勢(shì)，上半場(chǎng)結(jié)束時(shí)圣保羅以21：20領(lǐng)先。但是在下半場(chǎng)比賽中，圣保羅沒(méi)有延續(xù)上半場(chǎng)強(qiáng)勁的攻勢(shì)，最終黑利伯瑞以45:33獲勝。黑利伯瑞男子籃球隊(duì)的Leo在此次比賽中表現(xiàn)出精彩的球技和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。

　　Following the Hearts, Haileybury’s boys completed a close and competitive game. The strong opponents were going to be a challenge from the onset, yet Haileybury was holding back the Yankee Saint Paul’s tide with a 20 to 21 score at half-time. Unfortunately, the Bloods’ could not match their momentum in the second half following aggressive play by St Paul’s that resulted in a defeat of 45 to 33. Special mention goes to Leo for his strong performance and teamwork throughout the match.

　　Overall, the competition offers Haileyburians the opportunity to excel and travel throughout Beijing to verse similar International students from around the world. Each player performed excellently in this competitive environment and has every reason to be proud of their performanc
