As in view of special circumstances this term our campus remains closed, Shuren education goes online from February 17th!

　　由于本學期我們遇到得特殊疫病情況，北京市私立樹人瑞貝學校的校園暫時封閉，我們從2月17日起將課堂搬到了網(wǎng)上！

　　Our teachers have been working hard preparing weeks in advance mapping out teaching plans, recording teaching videos, and coming up with creative ways to engage learners via a variety of means online.

　　樹人的教師們提前數(shù)周開始準備教學計劃，錄制教學視頻，一起合力創(chuàng)新，幫助學生通過在線的多種方式取得沉浸式的學習效果。

　　It’s been our goal to ensure that the coronavirus outbreak has a minimal impact emotional and psychological wellbeing of our students, including their education.

　　我校的目標是——確保將新型冠狀病毒對學生的影響降到，無論是從心理上、生理上還是學習上。

　　Although the flu outbreak presented unexpected difficulties, we are very proud of our teachers, parents, and students.

　　盡管新冠病毒的爆發(fā)對社會帶來了難以預料的困難，但樹人學校對我們的教職工、家長與學生群體感到無比驕傲。

　　Teamwork and support on all fronts have made this experiment successful so far.

　　在線上教學開始以來，各方的支持與合作非常全面，且取得了顯著的效果。

　　Teachers have created hundreds of teaching videos; parents have supported student learning at home; children have enthusiastically completed assignments sharing their work with teachers.

　　教師們錄制了數(shù)以百計的教學視頻，家長們悉心幫助著孩子們在家學習，同學們充滿熱情地完成了學習任務，并且與教師分享他們的學習成果。

　　我校的外教們分享了一些他們關于在線教學與學習的觀點。

　　Sheralee Torrance, International 2A classroom teacher, says that her experience with online teaching at Shuren has been very positive thus far.

　　2A班的班主任老師Sheralee Torrance認為線上教學的體驗非常不錯。

　　She enjoys making exciting videos for the students, and thinks that online learning really benefits children because children all learn at a difference pace.

　　她非常享受為學生錄制教學視頻，而且認為在線學習對學生有著獨特的好處，那就是每一名學生都能夠按照自己的節(jié)奏來學習。

　　Online education allows flexibility in how fast or slow a learner needs to go and can receive individualized attention from the teacher. She says:

　　在線教育為學生提供了充分的靈活性，可以根據(jù)需要加快或放慢速度，也可以得到教師個性化的關注。她說：

　　“They are able to send me messages asking questions and I can respond to each learner individually. Once learners send me their activities, I can send them each a nice message congratulating them on great work.”

　　“學生們可以發(fā)消息給我進行提問，我便能夠一一進行回復。每當學生們將作業(yè)發(fā)給我的時候，我會為每一位同學寫好一段評語，祝賀他們完成了學習任務。”

　　Our International high school teacher, Mr. Collins Moga expresses confidence that online learning is the future of education:

　　“Online teaching provides opportunities to explore creative ways to educate children.

　　As technology continues to improve and new tools arise, students will benefit from experiences that allow more engagement to occur.

　　隨著科技水平不斷提高，新的工具不停地誕生，學生們會獲得更多的好處以及更多的學習與參與的機會。

　　Online teaching and learning will most likely be the only way to receive formal education in the future.”

　　我預計在未來線上學習很有可能會成為的接受正規(guī)教育的方式。”
