The sense of volunteering in Veritas has taken roots and is manifesting itself in every student and teacher’s life. In fact, public services are all around us! This week all 8th graders and their teachers launched a “Veritas Waste Paper Recycling Scheme” under the guidance of Ryan Zhang with a code name of “CREW”. “CREW” is composed of initial letters of the 8th graders’ English names, demonstrating team spirit. Emma is the group leader, and she will also be responsible for designing the Logo and the outlook of the recycling bins with Rachel. Caroline, as the spokesperson, is going to introduce their “Veritas Waste Paper Recycling Scheme” to all the students during next assembly. She and Mr. Ryan will design the inner structure of the recycling bins. William is in charge of the post production, and Louis is the backup of this group. The volunteers will initially inspect the way of recycling people are using currently, and how valuable this plan would be to saving the nature and trees. Let’s look forward to it!

　　美國(guó)威力塔斯學(xué)校的志愿者服務(wù)意識(shí)已經(jīng)深入人心，責(zé)任彰顯在每位師生的學(xué)習(xí)生活中，其實(shí)公益活動(dòng)就在我們身邊!本周八年級(jí)孩子們?cè)趶垐@老師帶領(lǐng)下正式開啟威力塔斯廢紙回收志愿者項(xiàng)目，代號(hào)CREW!CREW是以孩子們英文名首字母合成的，體現(xiàn)了分工協(xié)作的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。Emma同學(xué)為組長(zhǎng)，同時(shí)與Rachel同學(xué)共同承擔(dān)廢紙回收箱的Logo和外觀設(shè)計(jì)。Caroline同學(xué)為小組發(fā)言人，負(fù)責(zé)在集會(huì)上向全體同學(xué)介紹該項(xiàng)目，同時(shí)和張老師共同負(fù)責(zé)紙箱的內(nèi)部結(jié)構(gòu)設(shè)計(jì)。William同學(xué)為后期制作主力，Louis同學(xué)作為機(jī)動(dòng)隊(duì)員。工作初期將先調(diào)查目前廢紙垃圾在未得到分類回收時(shí)候的處理方式，以及回收后會(huì)對(duì)樹木砍伐、社會(huì)資源、環(huán)境改善起到多大的價(jià)值。更多精彩敬請(qǐng)期待!
