美國(guó)威力塔斯學(xué)校志愿者聯(lián)盟自成立以來(lái)，在老師和家長(zhǎng)的組織支持下，孩子們承接志愿者聯(lián)盟的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)，滿懷“奉獻(xiàn)、友愛(ài)、互助、進(jìn)步”的志愿者精神，在不同的領(lǐng)域踐行著自己的愛(ài)心、熱忱和社會(huì)責(zé)任感。

　　Since the establishment of Veritas Volunteer League, with the support of all the teachers and parents, our children have carried on the fine tradition of the Volunteer League, with the volunteer spirit of “dedication, fraternity, cooperation and progress”, and fulfilled their love, enthusiasm and social responsibility in different fields.

　　新學(xué)伊始，志愿者服務(wù)各分隊(duì)開(kāi)始陸續(xù)行動(dòng)起來(lái)：

　　9月6日、9月19日威力塔斯志愿者聯(lián)盟師生與獅子會(huì)北京愛(ài)樂(lè)服務(wù)隊(duì)悅讀會(huì)一起，兩次走進(jìn)安民打工子弟小學(xué)，用自己的優(yōu)勢(shì)和愛(ài)好特長(zhǎng)，為弟弟妹妹們帶來(lái)愛(ài)心和關(guān)懷。

　　同學(xué)們?yōu)榱嘶顒?dòng)成功舉辦，幾天前就開(kāi)始認(rèn)真準(zhǔn)備、明確分工，默契配合，有負(fù)責(zé)攝影攝像的、有負(fù)責(zé)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)活動(dòng)新聞撰稿的，有的同學(xué)作為現(xiàn)場(chǎng)活動(dòng)主持人，有的同學(xué)帶去了精彩的才藝表演，和小朋友們互動(dòng)、現(xiàn)場(chǎng)教學(xué)，其樂(lè)融融。通過(guò)接觸和了解不同家庭的環(huán)境，讓孩子們多了一份責(zé)任，多一份成長(zhǎng)！

　　On September 6 & September 19, teachers and students from Volunteer League with the Lions Clubs-- Beijing service reading club, walked into the Anmin Migrant Primary School two times,sending their love and care to those sisters and brothers with their own advantages and hobbies. In order to make the activity held successfully, our children began to prepare a few days in advance with a clear division of labor, and the tacit coordination. Some children were responsible for photography, a number of children were responsible for news writing, certain children as the host of the live activities while some students brought wonderful talent show with interaction among those local students during happy on-site teaching. children may have more responsibility through contaction and understanding the different families’ background!

　　9月21日，志愿者聯(lián)盟的同學(xué)們?cè)诶蠋煹慕M織帶領(lǐng)下來(lái)到了朝陽(yáng)區(qū)澳美語(yǔ)言聽(tīng)力康復(fù)中心，這也是同學(xué)們定點(diǎn)服務(wù)、特別熟悉的地方。正值中秋佳節(jié)，同學(xué)們和康復(fù)中心的孩子們一起體驗(yàn)了中華節(jié)日傳統(tǒng)文化。雖然這里的孩子們有聽(tīng)力障礙，但是在哥哥姐姐們耐心地溝通和演示下，他們愉快地一起游戲，聽(tīng)蟲(chóng)鳴、做月餅，個(gè)個(gè)臉上都洋溢著甜美的微笑。同學(xué)們?cè)谄渲懈惺艿搅藧?ài)心陪伴的力量，體會(huì)到了無(wú)論是否健全，每個(gè)人都值得尊重！

　　On September21, under the guidance of teachers, the students from the Volunteer League went to the Aomei Language and Hearing Rehabilitation Center in Chaoyang District, which is students’ designated service place. During the Mid-Autumn festival, the students and the children in the rehabilitation center experienced the traditional Chinese festival culture together. Although the children can not hear clearly, but under the patient communication and demonstration of elder brothers and sisters, they played games together happily, listenning to insects, making moon cakes, all faces were filled with sweet smiles. The students have gotten the power of love through accompanying them, and realized that no matter whether they are sound or not, everyone is worthy of respect!

　　9月22日，在九九重陽(yáng)節(jié)即將到來(lái)之際，為了弘揚(yáng)尊老、愛(ài)老、敬老的傳統(tǒng)美德，志愿者聯(lián)盟的同學(xué)們與獅子會(huì)盤(pán)古服務(wù)隊(duì)一起又來(lái)到定點(diǎn)服務(wù)地——益壽福敬老院，舉辦了重陽(yáng)節(jié)敬老愛(ài)老聯(lián)歡會(huì)。隊(duì)員們?yōu)槔先藥�去了水果、點(diǎn)心等慰問(wèn)品，親自送到爺爺奶奶手里。還為爺爺奶奶們精心準(zhǔn)備了精彩的文藝表演，共同度過(guò)了一個(gè)溫馨喜悅的重陽(yáng)節(jié)。歌聲，舞蹈把我們的問(wèn)候和關(guān)愛(ài)帶給每一位老人，給他們送去了歡笑，送去了祝福�；顒�(dòng)結(jié)束，孩子們收拾垃圾、陪伴老人家們聊天、攙扶他們回房間。點(diǎn)滴細(xì)微的舉動(dòng)、感動(dòng)別人的同時(shí)照亮自己，用他們的努力換回鮮艷的錦旗，我們一直在行動(dòng)！

　　On September 22, as the Double Ninth Festival is coming in China, in order to carry forward the traditional virtues of respect for the old, our students from Veritas Volunteers League and the lion club Pangu Service Team came to the designated service place - Yi Shou Fu Nursing Home, holding the Double Ninth Festival party for the old. Team members brought fruit, snacks and other comfort goods for the old man, personally sent to those grandparents. They also prepared wonderful artistic performances for our grandparents and spent a warm and joyful Double Ninth Festival together. Our studetns have sent them best wishes through singing, dancing to all the old man. At the end of the activity, the children picked up the garbage, accompanied the elderly to chat, and helped them go back room. Subtle actions move others while it can illuminate ourselves, with their efforts to retrieve the bright pennant, we are in action!

　　一種美麗，從服務(wù)中綻放！涓涓細(xì)水可以匯成江河，滴滴愛(ài)心可以凝聚成絢爛的七彩。讓更多的人加入我們的團(tuán)隊(duì)，讓志愿精神生根發(fā)芽，深深地生長(zhǎng)在每一位志愿者的心里！我自豪，我是一名志愿者！

　　A kind of beauty blooms within the service! A trickle of water can become a river, a drop of love can be condensed into gorgeous colors.
