雅思口語的評分主要看四個方面：流利度和連貫性， 語法， 詞匯，發(fā)音。中國考生雅思口語考試是在20多個主要雅思考試國家里面名列倒數(shù)的，其原因主要是拿過一個話題來不知道要說什么，而能說出來的一些東西也沒有什么實際的內(nèi)容。所以從第一個評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)流利度和連貫度而言就已經(jīng)很吃虧了。沒有了句群，段落，就失去了表現(xiàn)詞匯和發(fā)音的載體。而在所能說的一些句子和段落中還夾雜著單詞的誤用， he/she混用以及語法，時態(tài)，單復(fù)數(shù)的錯誤，因此總體分數(shù)會很低。 大家要提高雅思口語就是要從這四個方面著手進行練習(xí)。
一、連貫性方面，首先要解決的問題是如何“develop your answer”.
首先要解決的就是要學(xué)會擴展答案（develop your answer），使流利度和連貫性有所發(fā)揮，就如寫作寫提綱一樣，口語也要構(gòu)思你的框架。 例如：
E.g. What is your major? Why did you choose this major? Do you like it and why?
這個問題就可以從以下三方面進行答案的擴充：
1. Interest (internal factor)
2. Expectation from others (external factor)
Being encouraged/motivated by (eg. Parents)
3. Profitability
It is profitable/ promising/ lucrative
這樣你就擁有了回答這個問題的框架，能保證你的答案有一定的長度和內(nèi)容， 形成了句群和段落，然后你就要思考回答內(nèi)部邏輯和關(guān)系的問題，要用一些怎樣的連接詞使得自己的答案讓人聽起來順暢和舒服呢？以下是口語當(dāng)中使用頻率較高的連接詞：
Besides, in addition, to begin with, anyway, last but not the least, etc.
二、詞匯方面，不要片面追求專業(yè)難詞，而更應(yīng)該注意用詞的多樣性。
詞匯的問題也很重要，有很多同學(xué)認為口語沒考好或者難度大主要是因為自己詞匯量不夠，還有很多同學(xué)力求把自己的答案充滿了大詞和難詞，把答案弄得比較專業(yè)。這就失去了口語本身的特點，大家都知道西方人大多數(shù)說很簡單的英語而回避一些口語里的大詞。所以，我們的問題不在于你知道的難詞大詞有多少，而在于能否用多種方式的簡單生活化的口語表達你想表達的概念。例如：你的答案是說你很喜歡自己的專業(yè)，那么喜歡能有多少種方式表達呢？
Like, love, prefer, enjoy等這些是比較簡單和基礎(chǔ)的表達，例如：
I’m very much into/ I’m crazy about/ I’m fond of/ I’m keen on/ I’m fascinated by/about/ I really dig into
這些表達很生活化，并不是什么特別復(fù)雜的結(jié)構(gòu)，能很好的表達很喜歡這樣一個概念，而且略微高檔一些。
倘若你的答案里要出現(xiàn)5—6個表達喜歡的地方，那么至少用上3—4種不一樣的方式來表達這個概念，那必將使你的答案更具魅力，也展示了你的詞匯水平。所以我們看到，片面追求專業(yè)難詞是不對的，表達同樣一個概念的方式的豐富性才是大家應(yīng)該努力的方向。
三、語法方面，要盡量避免易犯的低級錯誤。
有了內(nèi)容和詞匯后就要輪到語法了，要盡量避免一些中國學(xué)生最容易犯的低級錯誤：he/she 混用， 時態(tài)錯誤，單復(fù)數(shù)錯誤，以及主謂一致錯誤等。要避免這些錯誤不只是要從文字方面弄清楚，更重要的是要通過大量的口語練習(xí)把正確的內(nèi)容練習(xí)成為條件反射。中國學(xué)生在時態(tài)方面要特別注意過去式，因為雅思口語，尤其是第二部分描述很多情況下都要用過去式，所以要注意答案的時態(tài)統(tǒng)一，不能時態(tài)混用。當(dāng)然，過去完成時和過去完成進行時能得到應(yīng)用的話也會對你的答案起到加分作用。比如:
Where is your hometown? / Where do you come from? / Where are you from?
與其說成my hometown is Xin Jiang, 不如說成 I am a Xin Jiang local. I have been living in Xin Jiang for more than 15 years.
四、發(fā)音方面，不要吹毛求疵，不要閉門造車
發(fā)音的問題是仁者見仁，智者見智的，隨著今年口語發(fā)音評分方面的改革，發(fā)音又一次被廣大“烤鴨”重視了起來。我個人的意見是，其實中國人總體的發(fā)音比很多雅思口語比我們高的國家的學(xué)員要好，只要注意一些經(jīng)常發(fā)錯的音就可以了，大原則是你的發(fā)音不要影響考官對你答案的理解就可以了，在這方面不要過度吹毛求疵。空有發(fā)音，而對一個問題不能快速，準(zhǔn)確的回答，那不是本末倒置嗎？再就是發(fā)音問題千萬不要閉門造車，而要找老師及時進行交流和更正。
下面我們來分享一下完整答案:

Sample Answer: I like it primarily/mainly/chiefly/principally because I’m very much into the stuff taught in class. Besides/Plus my parents encourage me to study it hard. In addition/Also this is a very promising major that is bound to bring me much income in the future. (Finally/Lastly…) That is exactly/precisely why I like my major.
可以看到這個答案就符合了內(nèi)容充實性和連貫性，詞匯的豐富性， 語法的正確性等雅思評分必備條件。至于發(fā)音和是否流利要看每一位學(xué)員投入練習(xí)的力度有多大了。
五、如何利用口語預(yù)測進行準(zhǔn)備
口語預(yù)測的用處很大，因為雅思口語考試話題的重復(fù)率很高。對于一般學(xué)生來講考口語最忌諱的就是在考場上第一次聽到要回答的問題，在考場上現(xiàn)場組織答案。要多涉獵每一部分考試能夠考到的話題，認真思考如果你被問到這樣的題目應(yīng)當(dāng)從哪些方面應(yīng)答，并進行練習(xí)。對于重復(fù)率較高的話題更要進行反復(fù)的口語練習(xí)，直到非常熟練為止。口語的練習(xí)是很隨機的， 只要有幾分鐘時間就可以思考一道題，練習(xí)一道題，貴在堅持。例如：
如果你被問道的問題是describe your hometown，那么就算你第一次聽到這個題，由于比較貼近生活可能你還能現(xiàn)場反應(yīng)和組織答案。但如果題目換成了describe a law, 如果平時沒有思考過這個問題的答題思路，那么現(xiàn)場組織答案會非常被動，發(fā)揮不好而不會得到很好的分數(shù)。
第二部分描述要特別注意移花接木， 也就是用一個準(zhǔn)備好的核心段落來演繹很多不同的話題。大家都知道雅思三部分的問題加起來可能有200-300道，而且問法還很不同。如果你每道題都要想出一個不同的答案的話那你要準(zhǔn)備和練習(xí)的段落就太多了，這是不現(xiàn)實的。 在日常的教學(xué)工作中，想用1-2個核心故事來套所有的問題的想法也是達不到的。所以要特別注意歸類總結(jié)，哪些問題可以用到同一核心段落，哪些要單獨準(zhǔn)備。這樣你需要準(zhǔn)備的段落可能就只有20個左右了。 想想看，熟練脫口而出20個段落應(yīng)該不難吧，但是上百個就不太可能了。例如：
你準(zhǔn)備好了一個描述一個老人的段落，那么很多話題都可以套用了：你最尊敬的人， 對你影響最深的人， 一個成功的人，一張照片（可以是你和他一起照的），一個禮物等都可以加以靈活的套用。但像describe a law這樣的話題你就必須要單獨準(zhǔn)備了，套用老人顯然不合適。
第三部分的話題與第二部分有緊密聯(lián)系，發(fā)散性和議論性都很大。建議大家要多看機經(jīng)里哪一類的描述話題能引出怎樣的一些議論性話題，多思考，只要能說出自己的觀點，不要愣住不知所措就可以了。
