破解雅思口語(yǔ)Part 3的十大絕招

　　雅思口語(yǔ)考試的Part 3一直都被視為最難的部分。朗閣海外考試研究中心分析認(rèn)為其難點(diǎn)主要有以下三條：
　　一）題目的性質(zhì)從原來(lái)較為生活化的Part 1和Part 2轉(zhuǎn)化為Part 3中帶有強(qiáng)烈學(xué)術(shù)意味的考題。比如How does scientific research benefit space, medical, environmental and information technologies? 該題問(wèn)科學(xué)研究給現(xiàn)代技術(shù)帶來(lái)怎樣的好處。
　　二）很多考題不再注重具體的細(xì)節(jié)描述或陳述，而轉(zhuǎn)向考察考生的抽象思維能力。比如Does money bring people more happiness or make them less secure? 該題問(wèn)錢會(huì)給人帶來(lái)幸福，還是使人更不安全。
　　三）有相當(dāng)數(shù)量的題目會(huì)讓考生去對(duì)某個(gè)話題進(jìn)行評(píng)估（Assessment），特別是利弊方面的評(píng)估；還有些考題讓你對(duì)未來(lái)進(jìn)行猜測(cè)（Speculation），讓你說(shuō)10年或20年之后某事物將會(huì)怎么樣。比如In your opinion, what languages will become more popular in the future? 該題要你猜測(cè)將來(lái)什么語(yǔ)言會(huì)變得流行起來(lái)。當(dāng)然，你還必須說(shuō)明理由。
　　總的來(lái)說(shuō)，Part 3已經(jīng)超越了日常生活層面，進(jìn)入到人的深層思維體系之中。朗閣海外考試研究中心分析認(rèn)為，它著重的是四樣?xùn)|西：world views（世界觀），belief systems（信仰體系），values（價(jià)值觀），attitudes（態(tài)度）。要把這些東西說(shuō)好，除了平時(shí)的語(yǔ)言功底和隨機(jī)應(yīng)變的能力以外，考生還需要具備一些人文方面的素養(yǎng)。
　　雖然Part 3的問(wèn)題錯(cuò)綜復(fù)雜，但根據(jù)筆者的教學(xué)及實(shí)戰(zhàn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，我們完全可以把所有Part 3的考題分為以下的九個(gè)大類，每一大類都含有若干典型的問(wèn)話套路：
　　一）闡述原因（Giving reasons）
　　Why do you think …?
　　Why is it important to do …
　　Do you think …? Why (not)?
　　Is it a good idea to (do …)? Why (not)?
　　二）預(yù)測(cè)未來(lái)（Providing speculations）
　　How do you see … changing in the future?
　　Do you think that in the future people will …?
　　What do you think will happen to … in the future?
　　In your opinion, which/what … will become more … in the future?
　　三）描述側(cè)面（Describing various aspects）
　　In what ways …?
　　What kind/sort/type of …?
　　How important is it for … to (do …)?
　　How has … changed (in your country) in the last … years?
　　四）維護(hù)立場(chǎng)（Defending your choice）
　　Is it better to (do …) or (do …)?
　　Should people always … or is it a good idea sometimes to (do …)?
　　Which is more important to you: … or …?
　　Which do people in your country prefer: … or …?
　　五）利用常識(shí)（Using your common sense）
　　Any yes-no question that involves a clearly positive or negative answer
　　Any question that asks you about the roles, responsibilities and general qualities of a social group
　　Any question that asks you about common knowledge, everyday experience and traditional culture
　　六）提供方案（Offering solutions）
　　What can … do to (do …)?
　　What can be done to (do …)?
　　What do you think is the best way for … to (do …)?
　　Are there other ways people can …, apart from …? How?
　　七）因果關(guān)聯(lián)（Connecting causes with effects）
　　What effect has … had on …?
　　How has … affected …?
　　Are there any negative effects of … doing …? What are they?
　　What do you think causes … to …?
　　八）對(duì)比異同（Comparing similarities and differences）
　　How does … compare with …?
　　How do you compare … with …?
　　Do you think … was different for your grandparents?
　　What are similarities and differences between … and …?
　　九）陳述利弊（Illustrating advantages and disadvantages）
　　What are the advantages and disadvantages of …?
　　What are the different advantages of … and …?
　　What do you think their disadvantages are?
　　How do people in your country feel about (a controversial issue)?
　　朗閣海外考試研究中心總結(jié)發(fā)現(xiàn)，從《劍橋雅思》的口語(yǔ)出題風(fēng)格來(lái)看，一般一套口語(yǔ)題的Part 3部分會(huì)有6道問(wèn)題，這一點(diǎn)大家可以參閱《劍一》到《劍七》的真題。下面的這套題從place到travel/tourism再到old buildings/historic buildings，提出了一系列問(wèn)題：
　　Why do you think people like to travel to different places?
　　→ 第一類：闡述原因（Giving reasons）
　　How do you see tourism changing in your country in the future?
　　→ 第二類：預(yù)測(cè)未來(lái)（Providing speculations）
　　Why is it important to protect the countryside?
　　→ 第一類：闡述原因（Giving reasons）
　　In what ways is the countryside in danger in your country?
　　→ 第三類：描述側(cè)面（Describing various aspects）
　　Why are historic buildings and monuments important to a city?
　　→ 第一類：闡述原因（Giving reasons）
　　Is it better to keep old buildings, or build new modern ones?
　　→ 第四類：維護(hù)立場(chǎng)（Defending your choice）
　　由此可見(jiàn)，任何Part 3的問(wèn)題都可以歸入以上九大類中的某一類。在本系列的后面九講中，朗閣海外考試研究中心將針對(duì)每一類問(wèn)題的特殊性，為大家一一分析破解它們的方法，也希望廣大“烤鴨”們能切實(shí)利用這些方法來(lái)為自己的考場(chǎng)發(fā)揮添磚加瓦。
